Our Services
CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine):
Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) are extremely powerful metrological instruments: they enable us to locate critical point coordinates on three-dimensional parts and at the same time they integrate both dimensions and the geometric orthogonal relationships.
Advantages:
- High precision and accuracy
- Requires less labor.
- Accurate dimensions can be obtained just by knowing the coordinates and distance between the two reference points.
- Robustness against external force and error accumulation.
- Resource conversation
- Development of blueprints and or 3D drawings
Prototype Development
Prototypes can be instrumental in helping bring the best product to market. Regardless of your reason for a prototype the skilled technical staff of Horton Machine can help bring your dream and project to reality. We are no stranger to helping companies achieve their desired goals.

Large Part Machining:
Results achieved for your parts go beyond the use of modern precision machinery. Our skilled craftsman and technically competent staff are the difference makers in providing the level of service and quality you require. Their attention to detail and quality control allow you to maximize your resources to achieve your goals.
Large Part Inspection (CMM):
The Coordinate Measuring Machine is not only important in the quality control process of inspection to determine technical compliance to tolerances, it is also instrumental in the reverse engineering process. With our state of the art CMM we can verify the critical measurements of your part to determine compliance with tolerance specifications. Our machinery is tested and calibrated on a scheduled cycle.
Reverse Engineering:
Horton Machine offers you a systematic Reverse Engineering process for mechanical components and systems that allows for the examination and analysis of the systems structure and components. This process allows you to make critical decisions in enhancing your equipment and competitive advantage.
This systematic methodology for analyzing the design of an existing device or system, either as an approach to study the design, part reproduction, or as a consideration for re-design.
We offer the following levels of Reverse Engineering services:
- Individual Component Analysis
- Subsystem Dissection Analysis
- System-Wide Analysis
Waterjeting:
The CNC controlled Waterjet cutting offers a variety of benefits in accurately producing parts for the end user. An important benefit of the water jet is the ability to cut material without interfering with its inherent structure, as there is no heat-affected zone (HAZ). Minimizing the effects of heat allows metals to be cut without harming or changing intrinsic properties. Water jet cutters are also capable of producing intricate cuts in material. With specialized software and 3-D machining heads, complex shapes can be produced.
WELDING AND FABRICATION:
Job related welding and fabrications are a part of the services we can provide in offering you the most cost effective solution to your job needs.
